Pinot Noir is one of our favorite varietals, especially ones hailing from the more Northern part of California. On the nose was immediate notes of caramel and dark fruit. The color was a pale garnet and then deep ruby. I paired this with lasagna and it held up really well. Taste notes- not overly ripe fruit, good mouth feel and it didn’t fight with the taste of the spices in the lasagna. Overall, this was a great wine! Price point was under $20.00 so will definitely buy some more! It most likely will age nicely for another couple of years. Cheers!
